Direct Accountability Program (DAP)
The Direct Accountability Program (DAP) is a Diversion Program funded by the Ministry of the Attorney General. Clients are referred to the program from the Courts to attend one of three workshops:
- Stop Shop Theft Program
- Alcohol and Drug Awareness Program
- Anger Management Program
The Programs use an educational, solution focused model and encourage participants to generate their own ideas, solutions and goals on how to change the problematic thinking, feeling and behaviour that has led to their involvement with the criminal justice system.
