2SLGBTQ+ Groups

Transgender Support Group (Adults 18+)

This is a group for adults who are transgender or don’t fit traditional ideas about gender. It’s a mix of online and in-person meetings. We welcome people who are still figuring out their gender. We talk about lots of things, like telling people you’re transgender, getting medical help if you want to change your body, dealing with people who don’t understand, handling stress, and managing relationships. It’s a safe place to share and learn about support from the community. You can also talk about your own journey with gender and make friends with others going through similar experiences.

Free To Be (Parents/Caregivers)

This group is for parents or caregivers of kids who might be transgender, gender non-conforming, or questioning their gender, no matter how old they are. It’s called Free to Be. In this group, parents and caregivers can get together to help and support each other, learn new things, and share useful information. We meet once a month. It’s a safe space where everyone can talk openly about their experiences and learn from each other. Some people might know a lot about gender identity and expression, while others might be just starting to learn. The main goal of this group is to help everyone understand and accept gender diversity better.
